Terms of Service
Last updated 8 October 2026
This is an agreement between you and Vaeli. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to it. If something here does not suit you, please do not use the app.
Who provides the app
Vaeli is run by an individual developer based in the United Kingdom. Contact: privacy@vaeli.uk.
What Vaeli is
The app helps you run your day — timetable, tasks, belongings, reminders — and talks about it in the voice of a language model. It is at an early stage of development. Features appear, change and disappear, and some may not work as described.
Your account
- You must be 16 or older to use the app.
- Use a real email address: confirmation goes there, and it is how access is recovered.
- Keep your password to yourself. Anything done from your account is treated as done by you.
- One account, one person. There is no need to share access.
How you may not use it
You may not: break the law; upload other people's personal data without the right to do so; attempt to reach other people's accounts or the internals of the service; scrape data automatically; deliberately generate load that disrupts others; or use the assistant to produce malicious, deceptive or prohibited content. We may close access if this happens.
Your content stays yours
The tasks, notes, timetable and everything else you enter belong to you. We receive exactly the permission the app needs in order to work: to store it, show it to you, and pass it to the model so it can reply. We claim no rights in your content, do not publish it and do not use it in advertising. Details are in the Privacy Policy.
The assistant's answers
The assistant is a language model. It makes mistakes, sometimes confidently. Its answers are not medical, legal, financial or educational advice. Check what matters and make your own decisions.
Availability and limits
We do not promise uninterrupted service. The app may be unavailable because of updates, failures, or limits imposed by third-party services.
Requests to the assistant have a daily limit; without one the model bill becomes unpredictable. We may change the size of that limit.
Plans and subscriptions
Vaeli has a free plan and two paid plans, Standard and Pro. What each one includes — among other things, how many assistant replies a day — is shown on the plans screen in the app (Settings → Plan → See the plans) and on vaeli.uk/plans. The price you pay is the one Google Play shows you before you confirm the purchase, in your currency and including any taxes that apply.
- Buying. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions sold through Google Play. Google Play takes the payment from your Google account when you confirm the purchase. We never see or store your card details; we only receive the fact that a plan is active.
- Automatic renewal. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month, at the plan price at that time, until you cancel it. Google Play charges you at the start of each new month. If we change the price of a plan, Google Play tells you before the new price applies to you and, where its rules or the law require it, asks for your agreement.
- Cancelling. You can cancel at any time in Google Play (Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Vaeli) or from the app (Settings → Plan → Manage subscription). Cancelling stops the next renewal. The plan stays active until the end of the month you have already paid for; after that the account moves to the free plan and your data stays. Uninstalling the app or deleting your Vaeli account does not cancel a Google Play subscription — cancel it in Google Play first.
- Failed payments. If Google Play cannot take a renewal payment, it may keep the subscription active for a short grace period while it tries again. If the payment still fails, the paid plan ends.
- Refunds. Purchases made through Google Play are refunded by Google Play under Google Play's refund policy. If Google Play says no and you believe that is wrong, write to us. Our full cancellation and refund policy is on the Refunds page.
- The free week of Pro. A new account can start seven days of Pro without giving a card. Nothing is charged, and the week never turns into a paid subscription by itself: when it ends, the account returns to the free plan unless you buy a plan. One week per email address.
- Changes to plans. We may change what the plans include or cost for future periods. We announce material changes in the app before they take effect, and a change never affects a period you have already paid for.
If the app is offered in another store, purchases made there follow that store's rules for payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds. Nothing in this section limits your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You may leave at any time: Settings → Account → Delete account, and your data is deleted along with the account. We may close access if these terms are broken or if the service ceases to exist; in the latter case we will give notice so you can export your data (Settings → Backup).
Warranties and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we give no implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and are not liable for indirect loss, lost profits or lost data.
We do not limit liability where the law does not allow it: for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or in respect of your rights as a consumer under the law of the United Kingdom, which remain fully intact.
Backups are your responsibility. The app can export your state as a file, and it is worth using.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes will be heard by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you keep the rights granted to you by the law of your place of residence.
Changes
These terms may change. A new version is marked by the date at the top, and we announce material changes in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new version.
